Delivering Automated Media Monitoring

In sales and marketing teams, having up to date information on clients and activities globally is essential to building a market leadership. We helped Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) to automate the discovery and distribution of real time client and content insights.

The challenge

Jones Lang LaSalle are one of the worlds largest Real Estate companies. They have thousands of employees that need up to date information on clients and their activities across the globe. The Client Plus team at JLL are tasked with informing the sales and accounts execs with daily insights about their clients. Previously, through manual media monitoring processes at a costly overhead of 50+ employees, covering global markets.

How AI helped

Skim developed a CMS that automatically identified and summarised events relating to key accounts at JLL. The prototype was built for UK sales and marketing teams, allowing them to receive a push notification in an iOS app or an automated email newsletter on a daily or weekly basis.

Automating the discovery and distribution of relevant content across multiple sales and marketing teams.

The result

The CMS helped reduce the manpower needed to produce the insights, from 50 people, down to three. Saving hundreds of valuable hours each week with the added benefit of providing insights to accounts teams in real time, resulting in more business being won.

“We have lots of researchers and people who generate insights for our clients, Skim helped us improve the speed at which we get insights and have better conversations with our clients.”

Chris Zissis, CIO, Jones Lang LaSalle

Our mission

Skim’s mission is to empower people to use data more effectively and to demystify artificial intelligence. Rather than holding up the common narrative of machines replacing humans, we see how machines can help humans to have easier lives and better businesses.
